Step outside the Bird-in-Hand Village Inn & Suites, and you can almost hear the past come to life. Conestoga wagons creak, horse teams whinny as they make their way along this Colonial byway from Philadelphia to the western frontier in the Allegheny Mountains. These are the travelers who first sought refuge, rest and refreshment in the original Bird-in-Hand Inn. Today Bird-in-Hand Village Inn has been painstakingly restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
